Copyright and DMCA policy
Worth a Shot, LLC respects copyright and responds to properly made notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Sending a notice
If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, send a written notice including all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The URL of the material you want removed, precise enough for us to find it.
- Your address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice containing the equivalent information, including your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district.
Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of contributors who repeatedly infringe.
Where to send it
Notices may be sent to hello@porchandplot.com with "DMCA" in the subject line.
To rely on the DMCA safe harbour, a service provider must also designate an agent with the US Copyright Office and keep that registration current. Publishing this page alone does not establish the safe harbour.
